For those unfamiliar with the area, Stanley is situated in Central Idaho within the largest wilderness area in the lower 48. It is a small town with a year-round population of 69 people. During the summer months the town brings visitors from all over the world and boasts a summer population of approximately 300 folks. Stanley's weather remains cool throughout the summer with days in the 80's, though it is rare to find a morning above freezing.

Stanley has all the amenities without the touristy feel. Stanley hosts a handful of restaurants, and a few quaint bars where you will will find a great array of people. Stanley is very remote, though a mecca for the outdoor enthusiast.
